3Q24 DroneSentry-C2 Software Update

DroneShield Limited (ASX:DRO) (“DroneShield” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the release of an update focusing on user experience, customisation, and fine-tuned performance.

Version 10.1 of DroneSentry-C2 builds on the next-gen capabilities introduced in the 10.0 major version last quarter. More sensors are integrated, with more powerful features available to control them, and the data being produced is now more accessible than ever before.

Highlights from this update include:

  • EchoShield Radar: As part of ongoing expansion of available sensors, DroneSentry-C2 now fully integrates with the Echodyne EchoShield radar, in addition to the Echodyne EchoGuard and RADA RPS-82 radar. All radars will exhibit improved velocity readings.

  • DroneSentry-X Mk2 Enrichment: The ability to use DroneSentry-C2 filters to suppress unwanted signals, or whitelist friendly known signals has been extended to the DroneSentry-X Mk2, completing the full suite of RF sensors.

  • Analytic Forensics: More data is included in analytics tables, with more search and filter criteria available to view specific trends. Graphs have been updated to give a clearer first impression, and event replays show the historic threat percentage throughout the incident.

  • Camera Control: Camera auto-tracking has been upgraded to include options to track DroneLocator (Remote ID/Drone ID) detections in addition to radar-located drones. New quick actions allow users to override automatic camera movement, lock on to a specific drone, or cycle through views of known drones.

  • Operator Notes: A new tab has been added in the sidebar to allow operators to write short messages visible to all users, so that situational information can be recorded inline in real time without the need for an external platform.

  • AI Improvement: ThreatAI better evaluates drone behaviour (speed, altitude and direction), to let users more quickly assess new detections. SensorFusionAI has increasingly refined distinction between drones, birds, and other airborne objects.

  • Audio Alerts: Zone intrusion events can play an alarm which notifies users of incidents when user-specified conditions are met.

Roll-out of DroneSentry-C2 version 10.1 begins today and will be deployed to existing DroneShield systems in collaboration with our partners.

DroneShield CEO Oleg Vornik commented, “DroneShield leverages SaaS delivery to incorporate feedback from our valued users, making sure they are equipped with the best and latest systems.”

DroneShield CTO, Angus Bean added, “Our software team continues to expand the detection capabilities of DroneSentry-C2 with new sensors, enriched data, and cutting-edge AI – all while maintaining a sleek no-nonsense user interface. This balance is what allows DroneShield to stay in the lead on C-UxS platforms.”
